Stephen Harper left a lucrative career in financial consulting because it was taking too much time from his volunteer work.
He began this “true calling” with Family Connection which then led him to help found Housing Advocacy Group (HAG) which then led him to wonder how he could help people find housing unless there ACTUALLY WAS housing. This lead him to CHSC.
He’s also active on behalf of IFSN, IAF and Elisha’s Pantry. He has been the Shomrei Torah Social Action Chair for over 20 years.
Stephen offers the following as his cornerstone: “I’m here to comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable.”
A CHSC Board Member since 2001, he also likes to help people get elected.
Lesley Haylock’s passion is affordable housing for the homeless and for those living with mental health challenges.

She has been part of the Sonoma County Taskforce for the Homeless since its inception and is a Buckelew Programs Sonoma County alumni.
For the past 5 years she has enjoyed co-directing the Buckelew Variety Show and, when she sings, the whole room lights up every time.
