In 2007, Paula became CHSC’s first full-time Executive Director. She has extensive experience as a project manager, and has served on our board since 2003. Paula obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Arts from UC San Diego, a Master of Science degree in Historic Preservation from the University of Oregon School of Architecture, and she attended McGeorge School of Law.
Paula has played a key role in the creation of more than 285 units of special needs and senior affordable housing, and has helped to obtain over $65 million in financing for our projects. She represents the Third District on the Sonoma County Planning Commission, and serves as the Chair of the Sonoma County Housing Coalition Consensus Council. Paula is deeply committed to creating housing for those with the greatest needs.
For Paula, home is “the place where the things I love surround me, and the people I love are with me; where I can relax and where I can be inspired.” At her home in Santa Rosa, Paula enjoys her puglet, Riley, gardening, and has an art studio where she creates assemblage altar boxes inspired by Joseph Cornell.
